New one day girls lax tourney on Long Island :
 
 The Long Island Beach Bums and Babylon Village Lacrosse clubs will be hosting the first of what we hope to be an annual Girls lacrosse tournament. Right here in Suffolk County!!!!
 
We have secured Van Bourgendien Park in West Babylon, NY to host a brand new one day girls lacrosse  tournament on July 17th, 2010.
 
 
 Space is limited ---This tournament will be limited to the first 32 teams this year.
 
This tournament would be open to 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders. ( Current School Year)
 
Cost per team will be $700
 
Format - Each team will be guaranteed 3 games.  Games will be 45 minutes long. Two halves and a short halftime
- plus a playoff game for the top 2 teams in each age group.
 
We realize that there will be some conflicts with away tournaments this year but we need to get this tournament on the calendar as a yearly event.
We sent this to most of the top Long Island based programs first to get an expression of interest before opening up the sign up process.
We have commitments from 3 programs already so don't delay.
